Typically I take either 6 or 9 flowers, uncover the jar of water, set it next to the plant, and directly transfer the 6 or 9 flowers onto the surface of the water essentially immediately. I let that sit in the sunlight and fresh air for a few minutes, then hike the jar back out, and the water infuses with the energy of the flowers for 10 days to 2 weeks.
